STUDENTS CENTERED LEARNING

 



The term student-centred learning (SCL) is widely used in the teaching and learning literature. Many terms have been linked with student-centred learning, such as flexible learning (Taylor 2000), experiential learning (Burnard 1999), self-directed learning and therefore the slightly overused term ‘student-centred learning’ can mean different things to different people

1. What I have learned today?
- I learned today the use of microsoft math, photoshop and the students centered learning. The students is centerd of learning wherein it is known as individualized learning.

2. What part of the lesson was difficult for me?
- I learned the use of math but there is a part of it that I dont know how to operate.

3. What part of the lesson I enjoy most?
- All of the lesson I enjoy.

4.One word to describe how I feel.
- HAPPY :)

          COMPUTERS AS INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

Using technology for professional learning offers the possibility of improving current processes, stretching resources, expanding the learning environment, and improving learning designs and results


1. What have I learn today?
- I learned that CAI is individualized learning. The students are responsible for their own learning. I learn also the use of Microsoft outlook.

2. What part of the lesson was difficult for me?
- When we discuss the adobe reader or anything about this.

3. What part of the lesson I enjoy most?
- When we discuss the dangers in using PC with the learners.

4. One word to describe how I feel today.
- PROCESSING

                                 HYPER-MEDIA AND WEB-BASED PROJECTS

1. What have I learn today?
- I learned to how to use the hyperlink, it easy to use, because you don't need to go back to the previous one, just link that to current slide, click and it will show.

2. What part of the lesson was difficult for me?
- Web-based project was the part of the lesson that was difficult for me, and another thing is that we will make our own blog.

3. What part of the lesson I enjoy most?
-Except from the surprise slideshow to Ms. Marie Veniz Bustamante is that when the hypermedia was discuss.

                  I.T FOR HIGHER THINKING SKILLS AND CREATIVITY 

Teachers must take in consideration the process in every project, because in the process the students were able to think and apply their creativity as results they have develop their higher thinking skills.

1. What have I learn today?
- Today Veniz and I was excuse because we need to clean up the boarding house of our trainer for cheering squad. In this case I only read my hand-out. and this is what I've learned. Students are expected not only in cognitive, but also flexible, analytical and creative.
Now I realized that Sir Davy , he gave us hands-on work to develop this characteristics. Because in this activity we will develop our creativity.

2. What part of the lesson I was difficult for me?
- As I continue reading, Higher level learning outcomes was the part of lesson that difficult for me, because I didn't understand what was all about.

3.What part of the lesson I enjoy most?
- I don't know if where it is, but when I was reading it. I enjoy reading the encouragement at the bottom of the hand-out.

4. One word to describe how I feel today.
- REGRET
